Q. How do I book a wedding at St Andrew's?

Q. Do I have to live locally to be married at St Andrew's?

Legally you have to have an address in St Andrew's Parish, or to belong to St Andrew's Church. Please do consult with one of the clergy on this matter.

Q. Can I get married at St Andrew's if I've been divorced?

St Andrew's is a church which marries divorced people, but the clergy will want to explore some details surrounding your previous marriage.

Q. What are Banns?

This is when your names are read out publicly in church to say that you are planning to get married. It is a very old custom, which helped stop people committing bigamy!

Q. How much will it cost to get married at St Andrew's?

This depends on what you want. The standard fee is £342.

Q. Can we video the service?

Yes you can, but this will cost an extra £50.

Q. Can we have what music we like for the wedding?

Yes, we try to help people choose what they want - and we often have experience of what works and what doesn't!

Q. St Andrew's is beautiful inside, but what about photos after the wedding?

No problem! Some couples have photos inside, some choose the grass beside the church, and some go down to Handsworth Park nearby.

Q. Can we have what flowers we want?

Yes, and the Church will provide and arrange them for you if you wish - the cost depends on what you want.
